Faraja Cancer Support was founded in 2010 with the aim of providing practical, emotional and therapeutic support to people with cancer as well as their friends and family. Faraja provides a complement to medical treatment through free additional therapies, support groups, art and music (Craft for Cure program) and medical and food support for children with cancer at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi. Faraja offers a safe space to patients, giving them access to free services and enabling them to have a positive influence on the pathways of over 5,000 patients with cancer.

We have partnered with Faraja by sponsoring their children’s Craft for cure program at Kenyatta National Hospital cancer ward through the provision Care packages for the outpatient children who receive chemotherapy in KNH Clinic and provision of stationery hampers and milk to the inpatient children. We also sponsor their feeding program at Shoe 4 Africa public pediatric hospital within Moi Referral Teaching Hospital (MTRH) in Eldoret.

Our staff also volunteer in the arts and craft sessions at KNH that keep the children educated and entertained during the period of their treatment stay at the hospital.
