As part of our societal initiatives, we have renewed our sponsorship of Faraja Cancer Support Trust for the Crafts4Cure program, an initiative that supports the health of children undergoing cancer treatment at Kenya’s main referral hospital, Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret. Crafts4cure is Faraja’s art and music therapy program for children with cancer admitted at the 2 major hospitals. In addition to therapeutic play, Faraja distributes milk and apples to the children. The partnership that started in December 2019 has seen Rubis donate €5000 yearly towards facilitating the distribution of milk and apples and engaging the children in art and music. Over 700 children benefit yearly from the program.
